Welcome to the Southport Snooker and Billiards Club.
Located in the heart of Southport, Queensland, Australia, we are a private facility for members of the snooker club, located upstairs in the Southport Bowls Club. There are four full size snooker tables with metered lights. Snooker is a fantastic sport. People of all ages and fitness can enjoy taking part, no matter how good you are, there is always the opportunity to reach an even higher level in handicap & non-handicap tournaments, it is about self belief, dedication, focus & keeping your eye on the ball. We cater for all levels of players, from novice to the more experienced opponents with handicaps to assist lower ranked players. Join the club & meet some new friends, there's always room for everyone & you are most welcome. We have an active calendar of events throughout the year for members of the club. All you need is some time, dedication, a cue & some chalk. We run a variety of competitions throughout the year, including Club Championships, Interclub Challenges, Double Take, Pennants & social night. Club Facilities The licensed bar and catering facilities are the ground floor, we do have disabled access to the second floor, with both male & female amenities on our floor, no smoking is permitted anywhere within the building, however there is a designated smokers area outside. Free car parking spaces are available at the front of the club, there is also a tram stop nearby. Our room is air-conditioned in readiness for those warm summer days. Volunteers Our club is completely run & operated by volunteers, we would like to this opportunity to thank them all for their valuable time, without them, there is no club!
